Hello everyone, how are you today? Welcome to our blog About Crochet.
We hope you are very well and looking forward to a new post about crochet.
Today we are going to share with you the following post:
Crochet Granny Spike Stitch – Free Pattern and Tutorial!
I was swatching for a baby blanket to make as a gift and wanted a stitch that was striking – in a few colours – and easy and quick to make, and I just love this result!
The Granny Spike Stitch creates a substantial fabric with a lot of visual interest and loads of potential for colour play. It is a very relaxing stitch to work.
You can change colours every row, or every two rows as I did. which gives the illusion of a wavy pattern. I like to make my ‘spike stitch’ very loosely, try out to see what works best for you.
Enjoy The Post
In this tutorial I will show you step by step how to crochet The Granny Spike Stitch with detailed photos and explanation and a video at the end for those who find it easier to learn by watching how is it done.
