It is worked in 3 sections and then you weave the 3 pieces together. I think it looks best when you use 3 different colors but it can also be made with all one color. Since this is a crochet dishcloth I use cotton yarn. For this dishcloth I used Creme de la Creme cotton yarn from Red heart
It is available in a variety of colors. I had some of this yarn leftover from my previous dishcloth (starfish). I think these Sailors Knot dishcloth makes a great gift or item to sell at Craft Fairs. These are great for little house warming parties as well.
This dishcloth uses basic stitches and you work both in the round for the main square and in rows. I hope you enjoy this video tutorial.

This Sailor’s Knot Dishcloth makes a great gift and sells well at Craft Fairs. I used cotton yarn since it will be wet often. The cotton yarn allows it to dry quicker.
This dishcloth is great for home decor. You can make them using your favorite colors, team colors or use Christmas colors for a holiday theme. You can make a set alternating which colors you use for the different loops.
